VSoftwareTools develops practical software for Mail, Shipping & Business Centers, with PMTools at the heart of what we do.
Our Story
VSoftwareTools was built around a simple idea: software should help store owners and staff get more useful information from the systems they already use and make everyday work easier.
Our experience operating a Mail, Shipping & Business Center helped shape PMTools from the beginning. What started as a collection of practical tools for PostalMate users has grown into a suite of approximately 64 tools, reports, utilities, and business-management features.
Today, PMTools includes tools for package and mail management, reporting, customer service, carrier reconciliation, computer rentals, and more, with PMTools Financials coming soon.
Our Team
VSoftwareTools is a small team with decades of combined experience in technology, accounting, software development, and the Mail, Shipping & Business Center industry.
President & Founder
Don is the founder and president of VSoftwareTools and has decades of experience in computer technology, business systems, and entrepreneurship.
After purchasing and operating Mail Room Plus in Portland, Oregon, Don applied his technical background to the needs of the retail mail and shipping industry. Those ideas became the foundation for PMTools.
VP Marketing & Sales
Duane has worked in the Mail and Parcel industry since 1995 and brings decades of hands-on store operations, sales, and customer-service experience to VSoftwareTools.
His industry experience gives him a practical understanding of the challenges store owners face every day. He works closely with customers and industry partners to introduce PMTools, demonstrate how it can help their stores, and make sure customer needs continue to influence the products we build.
Chief Financial Officer
Cheryl brings extensive accounting, business operations, and small-business experience to VSoftwareTools.
Her background includes multiple controller roles as well as hands-on ownership of Mail Room Plus. She helped shape many of the early ideas that eventually became PMTools.
QC Director
Mollie has worked in the Mail and Parcel industry since 1995 and brings years of store-management and operational experience to the team.
Her attention to detail plays an important role in quality control and testing, including years of beta testing PostalMate software.
Software Engineer
Alberto brings more than a decade of software-development experience, with a strong focus on C#/.NET and business applications.
He plays a key role in the continued development and modernization of PMTools, helping turn real-world store needs into stable, practical software.
